A: The web site migration service available at ZDhost.com is entirely free of charge and involves moving all your files, databases and e–mails from your present web hosting provider to your brand new hosting account with us. We will also update all the configuration settings necessary for your websites to be fully functional on our innovative cloud hosting platform.Our techs are completely capable of transferring just about any site. With years of work experience behind their backs, they’re well–versed in the specificities of our hosting platform, our Control Panel and all other famous Control Panels. For them, transferring a custom–built app with many custom libraries is as easy as moving a simple WordPress–based weblog.

A: While we can’t give you an exact ETA, because there are many factors, among them the physical size of the files and databases, the physical location of the present host’s server, the complexity of your web site and the current workload of our Website Migration Department, etc., we will do our best to transfer your web site within 48h, and in certain cases – within 24h (when the content is not large).

A: We do not require any sensitive info. We’ll need, however, the login info for your old hosting account as well as the name of the website that you’d like to move.

If everything is functioning properly, all you will need to do is update the NS resource records pertaining to your domain name. Your web site will be migrated to us with no downtime.

A: While we move your web content, your hosting provider won’t be aware of the migration at all. We will not contact them in any way.

A: We support all Linux–powered web hosting platforms. Basically, if we can acquire access to your Control Panel, we will be able to transfer your web site.The only platforms that we don’t support are closed–source web site management platforms such as Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square, Mr Site, etc.
