The feature can be enabled when you make a brand new email address or any time later and deactivated just as quickly any time you change your mind. This can be done through the Hepsia Hosting Control Panel in which you can manage your account. You'll have the option to decide if a copy of the inbound emails will stay on our servers or not. The main advantage of this option is you will always have a backup on your server if something happens with the other mailbox or if perhaps it is not active for whatever reason at the time an email message is forwarded. When the option is not active, an email will be received, forwarded and removed from our servers no matter if the remote e-mail is working or not, so it is usually a good idea to have it active just to be on the safe side.

Forwarding an email address hosted on our servers can be very simple if you have a semi-dedicated server package with us and it will not take you more than several clicks to set up. You can do this through the Emails part of the Hepsia Hosting Control Panel and you will be able to check the mailboxes which are being forwarded and where your messages are going to with a glance. The option can be activated and deactivated for each of the mailboxes in your account. You could also activate or deactivate a useful option that we offer - a copy of the messages being sent through our system can stay on the server. In this way, you'll also have a backup of your incoming e-mails and you'll not have to worry about loss of any information. In case you have this feature deactivated, you risk losing e-mails should there be an issue with the remote email address.
